Payments

  • A primary payment / Venmo is required on the commission form for requesting payment from Venmo of the agreed upon amount to be paid for the commission.

  • Payment must be made before work on the commission will begin.

  • Commissioners have the option to pay for half the commission at the beginning of the sketch phase, and the rest before the final .PNGs and .JPGs are released.

  • Commissioners will have up to 7 days to pay your invoice, or your order will be discarded.

  • Commissioner(s) will be notified when their full payment has been received.

Refunds

  • Refunds, if granted, will be applied via Venmo for the commission(s) and vary based on level of completion.

  • Full-refunds will be denied once the initial sketch has been deemed satisfactory by the commissioner(s) unless granted by special cases.

  • Refunds requested by the commissioner(s) during the sketch phase and beyond will result in an inconvenience and a work fee being deducted from the refund total.

  • The inconvenience fee is 5% of the total original commission cost that was agreed upon by the commissioner(s).

  • The work fee is a work-completed-based-percentage of the total original commission cost that was agreed upon by the commissioner(s).

The Work Phase

  • As work is completed, the commissioner(s) may receive work-in-progress updates at the artist's discretion—typically after large sums of work have been completed.

  • After a work-in-progress update is received for the sketch portion of the commission process, the commissioner(s) may inquire about changes to the current work provided.

  • If the commissioner does not request a due-date within the original commission request form, there will be no guaranteed ETA outside of the normal 7-30 day period.

Changes During the Work Phase

  • Once a commission has begun, substantial changes to the original idea/concept for the commission may only be applied during or before initial sketching. Minor corrections may be implemented along the duration of initial sketching.

  • Substantial changes include, but are not limited to: pose switching, character switching, body physique changes, scene changes, scenario changes.

  • Minor corrections include, but are not limited to: hair fixes, horn/teeth/eye adjustments, small adjustments to character limb(s) placement, color corrections, small additions to or small subtractions from the background or scene.

  • Substantial changes requested by the commissioner(s) that are deemed unreasonable or vastly different from the original inquiry for the commission may incur greater charges.

  • Changes requested after the finished sketch has already been fully approved by the commissioner(s) may also incur additional charges.

The Finished Product

  • Commissioned work will be considered finished when the artist and commissioner(s) agree that the commission is finished to satisfaction by both parties.

  • When the commissioner(s) deem their purchased work to be finished and satisfactory, no further changes or additions may be requested.

Copyrights and Ownership

  • The artist retains the copyright to each image commissioned from them. The artist alone may sell prints, make revisions, and upload the image to any galleries that they choose. The commissioner(s) may not resell prints or make revisions, nor commission another artist to make revisions.

  • Commissioner(s) may request to keep their commission(s) private, anonymous and un-posted.

  • Commissioner(s) may upload their purchased image to any of their galleries at their leisure, provided that the artist is credited sufficiently with a link leading to the original post in their gallery or to their profile page.
